About Lighthouse
We are a mission-driven consultancy that focuses on a small number of projects with the greatest potential to enact transformative changes by and for communities with the most insight into what’s broken in our systems.
Our team has helped build a series of initiatives that include:
An initiative to advance equitable access to tutoring in America’s public schools, which has helped states direct more than $400 million to expand access to individualized instruction for more than 500,000 students across 29 states.
A local youth civic engagement program, which has supported young people to register voters, lobby elected officials, and implement Rhode Island’s first participatory budgeting program; it was twice celebrated by the League of Women Voters.
A national initiative to ensure every American has a clear path to a good job, which is partnering with multiple governors to fund programs and implement policy changes across the country.
Lighthouse Strategy Partners LLC is led by Seth Kolker. Seth has experience teaching high-school math, organizing communities, litigating for civil rights, advising presidential campaigns on policy, and working as a senior nonprofit executive. He is a Knight-Hennessy Scholar and a Schwarzman Scholar with a JD and MBA from Stanford, a Masters in Education from Rhode Island College, and a BA in Ethics, Politics, & Economics from Yale.
